The Wireless Personal Alarm is an 18g discreet personal alarm that can be worn or carried by the user. Once activated, the alarm establishes a bluetooth* communication link to the user's GSM or Satellite phone which sends an SMS message to a predefined emergency contact (this could be a monitoring service, a colleague, friend or carer). The SMS contains the identity of the person in distress, the nature of the distress and the location of the person (using GPS/LBS).
